7th activity: "I’m Earth!"

During the month of May, in “I’m Earth!”, the Science teachers organised activities about the identification of minerals and their physical and chemical properties, the rock cycle, volcanic eruptions and their characteristics, the processes of fossilization, the simulation of a paleontologist's work and rock dating . They also brought a specialist to school.

 Moreover, the Geography teachers and their students (dressed in clothes that represented the different countries) prepared an exhibition with flags, PowerPoint presentations and small replicas of European monuments and some snacks. These activities intended to promote a friendly interaction between all the school stakeholders, but most of all to praise Europe diversity and develop intercultural education.

The school also organised an Open Day for all the students’ parents and relatives with activities from all areas. As an important part of today’s identity of the school, the people engaged in Erasmus+ presented an exhibition of the projects the school is involved in, namely the project “Mathematica Regina Omium Scientiarium Et”.
